With its beginning in 2015, the Heart of Valentine Christmas Parade of Lights is held annually on Small Business Saturday (which is the Saturday after Thanksgiving) to celebrate and support our small businesses and all they do for their community.

 

So forget all about Black Friday, and make sure you visit downtown Valentine for the unique and diverse shopping there is, then head over to Green Street for the Heart of Christmas Parade of Lights. Afterward at the Cherry County Fairgrounds, in the 4-H Building, there will be a Best Christmas Sweater contest for two age groups, a tree decorating contest - vote for your favorite, along with things to warm you up, like a s'mores bar, chili, and hot cocoa.

Businesses will have their own thing to bring shoppers to visit and enjoy the quaint, Hometown Small-Town shopping experience! After a Black-Friday shopping experience, this is a must for every weary shopper. And you'll be sure to find unique treasures here in the Heart City.
