Classic Car Cruise
Fact: Everyone loves cars! Trucks! Classic! Modern! We have great roads too!
We know there are some things that simply should not be judged...but cars aren’t one of them...so get yours to Valentine for the Valentine Classic Motor Club's annual Car Cruise, and be a part of the power, muscle, and good vibes. Typically held near Father's Day, but check the Schedule of Events for sure.
After the cruise there is a show afterwards at Scotty’s Ranchland Foods, the Frosty Drive-in and the Visitor's Center parking lot, located on Valentine's Main Street.
The cars will weave in and around town in the biggest parade ever. No need to register to join in, just be at Henderson’s IGA\Bomgaars parking lot on Highway 20/83 before 7:00 p.m. on Highway 20\83. After the parade - rain or shine - stop at the Frosty for a beverage with your sweetheart - or to compare cars, tires, products, and what makes your baby come to life.
Come out and see for yourself! It’s great fun for the whole family! Last two years, there has been a burnout contest...
Some years, there is a car show held the next day with cash and raffle prizes!!! In the past there have been trophies - five People's Choice and five Club Choice in the Open Show category! There are also T-shirts, a model car show and a lot of fun! This is North Central Nebraska's largest car show!
