Stair Step Falls is just one of many waterfalls along the Niobrara River. This beautiful, picturesque, waterfall is on the Niobrara Valley Preserve which belongs to the Nature Conservancy. They can be reached while taking a leisurely float down the Niobrara River. Shortly after Sharp's Landing a sign will indicate where the falls are located. 

Please remember, this is PRIVATE PROPERTY, the falls are slippery and while you may stop by and visit, treat it with respect.
